Just ordered my 70th anniversary CRD Grand Cherokee Limited today! Damn I'm excited, unfortunately not expected until late July! I nearly chose the the hemi v8 but when I saw the figures on the diesel my sensible side opted for the oil burner. Should be an absolute ripper! And the 70th anniversary edition gets rid of that ugly wood trim.

Yeah mate absolutely, I'll keep you posted, when it arrives you're more than welcome to come take a look. The pricing is still completely 'up in the air' I signed on an agreement that it would be the same price as the V8... if it comes in cheaper I get the discount, if it comes in more expensive the dealer wears it.

On a different note, I don't wanna sound negative and I hope your dealer was telling the truth.............. BUT I really don't like your chances of seeing a diesel Grand in australia til at least end of the year. They aren't expecting them in the states until mid year and we are running pretty late behind them. Most people are still waiting for GC's ordered from january

But fingers crossed hey

Correct they are not being released in the US till year end.
However if you go online you will notice they have been released in Europe and are scheduled here mid year.

Nice! I noticed the Hemi is $67K driveaway on the official site. Do you know if this model also includes Quadra-Lift standard?
