Default Age of Empires 3

Anyone a fan of the Age of Empires series? I got my hands on a pre-release of Age of Mythology yesterday & had a play with it.

It's very similar to number 2, but they've added a 'god favour' element - if you pray at the temples the gods will give you powers.

All in all, not a bad game if you like the rest of the series.

Love the AOE series. So do my kids.

Be interesting to see the new one, not really in favour of "god" type setups though. Thats probably why I prefer AOE to Warcraft.

Liked AOE but I have new baby....Medieval Total War. Brilliant game with hundreds of units on screen all with their own AI. Can't stop playing it and it runs well on my aging (1.5 year  ) system

Ahh, i remember the late nights waiting for player number 8 to load up while the rest of us wait...

Damn good game, it's supposed to be one of the all time best sellers for MS.

Those were the days, sitting up in the early hours of the morning, letting our best mates kick our butt.

Building on AoE2 - Age of Kings, it uses all the things you know from the previous games, with new features and best of all, true 3D sprites and rendering.

Come round Jeeps place for a LAN sometime.
