I replaced everything except the part where you have to remove that tiny cir clip and pull the front of the pump out,
Be careful when you remove the tiny cir-clip, there is a tiny check ball behind it.

Actually, thinking about this - don't spend money on a new HP pump just yet...

How far have you driven since you played with the fuel system?

Get it started and go for a good drive - around 15-20km. As you get back near home, try full-throttle again an see what happens (be prepared for it to stall again, so think about your situation before doing it an make sure you have the SYB with you).

My thinking...
More than once when I have opened up te LP side of the fuel system, I have thought I had all the air out. However, if I gave it a boot-full just down the road it would stall. Obviously it takes time to bleed out. It comes good after a bit of a drive.

Well folks, I think I have found the problem.
The fuel line that goes to the front of the high pressure pump has a split in it. It looks like a ware mark that probably started as a tiny pin hole type and today just got bigger because it was spraying a shit load of diesel out.
It appears to have been rubbing against the engine for some time.
Now, I don't suppose anybody has a fuel line for sale? Or is there a way that I can maybe cut the line in half and put a joiner in.
Thanks,
Rob

Actually, Can someone tell me where I can get the fuel lines, and the sensors that go on the ends of the fuel rail. If I can get these parts and it don't go, then it can sit there until the cows come home, so i'll do the 2 things and be done.
Thanks,
Rob
