Default And the project begins...

Hi Ladies and Gents...

I have got my hands on a cj5, it is running the cast 250 x-flow ford motor with the original 3spd jeep box and transfer case. Interesting combo but obviously not big enough. Ahh, the dreams for this car begin to unfold. I am looking at dropping a 302 or 351 clevo into this jigger to give it a bit more up and go, burn more fuel and make more noise. Anybody know of a suitable gearbox and transfer case and i imagine tail shafts and diffs that would hold the load ok and not be too much of a drama getting to fit

Thanks in advance...
Tom

Have a look in the FS section, there was a pair of Scout D44 diffs in there some mods required but they can be made to fit and also someone had a 360 in there too, that should be enough to get ya going...

chev would give more room as lot smaller exsternaly.
Marks 4wd adapters might be a good place to start looking.
