I have already dyno'ed my car so it would be interesting to see if there was any difference once fitted. I'm keen to not loose any power as I have more mods to come but hopefully the design is such that it is not restrictive like most snorkels on the market.

My Laredo is booked in for drop off to Airflow for them to pull apart on Monday. I'll get it back on Friday...

Cheers

You should be happy with the performance after the fitment.
I have spoken with Michael & looked through his factory. He has designed a snorkel for performance.....and it helps keep water out.

Cheers, Craig

LOL! Perfect, sounds like he speaks my language.

The standard air filter is puny, I have tested the car on the dyno with the air box up and it picked up about 4-5kw on an otherwise (almost) standard engine/tune. Hopefully the additional, cold air into the airbox will negate the filter dimensions. I am working on a high flow / high filtration air filter element for the GC as we import Green Filter from the US of A, it wont happen over night but it will happen.
Matt.

I asked as when doing the WG snorkel - he put it on the dyno at his expense for before and after data. Just never quite got around to doing the second dyno run.

Hey Matt, part of my discussions with Michael were about his 'work in progress' on a high flow air filter.....

Cheers, Craig

Where is Michael saying he is at with his air filter Craig?

I held it in my hands when the WG CRD snorkel was done and it was only awaiting patent paperwork which he thought would take about 6 months. That was a while ago now.
