Default Comfortable driving position?

Hi all, I’ve had my GC now for 14 months and I still can’t find a comfortable driving position. I get discomfort in my left hip even though I’ve tried 100’s of different positions. Sit in the passenger seat and it’s comfortable straight away. I know that it’s built for left hand drive, but surely there must be a way. I know I’m getting old, but geez. When I drive anything else I put my left leg over to the left as much as possible, which obviously I can’t do now. Thanks all.

I recently completed a 13hr non stop stint in my GC, rotating drivers between my self and my daughter every 2-3hrs, and i found the drivers seat way more comfortable than the passengers seat.
Daughter was laughing at me when we were doing the last change over just outside Perth and i was standing on the side of the road bent over trying to massage some bloodflow back into the cheeks of my arse.
Jesus they were getting sore.:O :O

I find the seats are the same, it’s just the amount of floor space. So much more on the passenger side. I find the drivers side fairly cramped. Arse cheeks are ok though 😆

Oh thank you, thank you ...... from the time I got this horse, I have thought these seats are not as good as the WG's, I could do a 12hr run in it and get out feeling good as gold, this one 2 hrs and my left cheek is killing me and I fiddle with the seat adjuster trying to get the sweet spot, stretch left leg, tuck it nothing works, better seat than some trucks I drove but still not as good as the WG......

A lot of people say how comfortable it is, but all of my Commodores were much better. Main issue though is that I can’t get my left leg into a comfortable position because it’s now forced to go a bit right of centre.

Do you think it is the lack of a left foot rest? I made one up for mine which makes for a comfortable rest for your left foot rather than just hanging there and it doesn't interfere with the park brake. The only other option is to have your foot back and flat on the floor with your knee resting against the console. I tend to alternate between these 2 positions and have no problem.......but that's me.

Exactly what I find best on long towing trips.
