Default Jeepin By Al (USA) upper control arms

Here's a shot of my upper control arms in the Commander with Stu Murchison coils and a 6mm top spacer.

A very handy hint when installing upper control arms. You can easily access the mounting bolts by removing the inside plastic front gaurds. (as per the photo) If you don't do this you'll go made trying to find the bolts. Also remove the 4 top strut mounting nuts under the washer bottle on the R/H side and under the fuse block on the L/H side. You do this so you can move the coil spring away from the UCA mounting bolts so the bolts can be slide in and out easily.
There are no detailed instuctions on how to remove the UCA so this will make the job easy.

Yes you can buy them ex the USA. I have a spare set at home. I think I bought them through PartsGeek.coms. You can also buy just the bushes and ball joints separately but they are a bugger to remove and refit.

Thanks for the info, I though the OEM lower control arms have non replaceble bushes?

I thought my odometer had crashed and was giving a faulty reading at first
