Default Wk2 factory hid change to led?

Just wondering if it's possible to remove the factory hids and put in leds

Why?
The factory hid's are pretty good. I don't think led's would be better?

Don't know what model year you have but do you mean the DRL's? If so, they are yellowish and LED replacements are easy but I found they don't last, ended up pulling out the relays. I find DRL's pretty pointless anyway.

I reckon he must be talking about the drl's my factory bulbs were yellow, chucked led in them, now white
My factory hid for main beam are bright white.

No my hids in the main projector low beam, mine have a slight yellow tinge, almost like a normal halogen bulb, I prefer a crisp white
