Jeep Mechanic in the ATC
Hey there guys.
I've just moved from Adelaide to Canberra and am needing to have the suspension in my JKU replaced. The previous owner had a 2.5" ARB lift installed (which I've never been impressed with) and more recently it has become rather 'tiered'. The ol' rig really sways from side to side during cornering and has quite an unnerving list when on an incline and generally speaking just feels very unstable. I've also had a couple of incidents of death wobble recently, so I dare say an overhaul is due.
Not having been impressed with anyone in Adelaide I had been planning to drive the old girl to Jeep Konection in VIC and was considering continuing to do the same again, but was wondering if anywhere in the ACT or Sydney would be worth looking at instead. Could anyone recommend a place that would be suitable for doing a suspension/steering overhaul on a JKU?
