Good to read you guys reminiscing the "old" days...me, only have memories of growing up in a city...though back in the 50's and 60's the cities were much smaller.

Did heaps of things, some I regret, most I don't.

I have crammed a fair bit in to my life... raced cars, flown aircraft, driven road trains, along the way did heaps of 4wd'ing fishing and camping...and fitted in somewhere having kids...where has the time gone?

Mate and I were reminiscing our old cars the other day...just as well as teens we had all day to gin around with them, tuning, greasing and washing them for the regular Saturday night laps around town...

Like you drover, just don't want the days to go too fast, as the saying goes... "youth is wasted on the young"...

NRMA have never cared about vehicle owners whether the article is true or not.

They have only ever cared about themselves and getting themselves voted into a position of power. That's one reason why I have never been or will ever be a member.

...Great Jeep, I bought a new XJ Sport in 1996..did 80,000 odd k's in it, loved it. The only issue I ever had was after parking at the airport for a few days came back to the passenger floor under water....leaking windscreen seal fixed under warranty.
There are a few very tidy XJ's around here, the Auto Leccy I use has one but he has belted the daylights out of it...yet it still comes back for more...

We were yacking the other day about my Cape trip i am going to do while I had the new alternator fitted to this Jeep, he said he had water up to the dash in his XJ one time...still goes fine...try that with a WK2!

I think this is a very important point... look at Greta Grunberg and how she has been used as a puppet to flog the climate warming bullshit. There is a very real and determined agenda to indoctrinate school kids, as you say. Get them young and they are easier to convince. The absolute hypocrisy of the climate warmer wankers in using kids to sell their vile mis-truths and damn lies is one good reason why kids should stay home.

No doubt they have learned from the extremist religious cults that take their kids onto the streets of America to condemn anything and everything and anyone who may have a different view and ways of being in the world. Of course the extremists have no sense of guilt about peddling the lies and extremism that they do. They believe that their mad ideas are "truth".

But as I say, radical movements never succeed.

Just a couple of interesting You Tube videos on the EGR tube and inlet manifold on the VM...these are on the RAM Ecodiesel but same motor anyway...first two are the same guy fitting a "diffuser" to the EGR and his comments about the whole thing...

The one below the bloke talks more about the swirl valves in the intake...

He talks about installing a "Banks Bullet"...

The Banks Bullet for the 2014-2015 Ram 1500 and 2014-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers owners of EcoDiesel powered vehicles the ability to select from three power levels: Stock, Tow and Sport, plus it reads boost or injection percentage.
These power levels are adjustable on-the-fly. Dyno testing proves that the Banks Bullet can boost the power output of your EcoDiesel by 37 hp and 57 lb-ft of torque.
