I've got Cooper's in 275 on mine. good tyre, great grip and wear, but so bloody noisy, I won't be putting another set on it next time.

We had Pirelli AT+ on our KL Trailhawk for about 2 years until we replaced it with the WK2 - and they were FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC MATE!!

In spite of their offroad chunky appearance and the fact that they bag out a LOT even at higher (road) pressures they're quiet on the road and handle entirely like a road tyre. Very comfortable, very solid / secure feeling especially in the wet - and handle great. They also seemed to be wearing very well which surprised the heck out of me.

We never really tried them out hard offroad, but on some fairly rugged dirt tracks they were very comfortable and had no issues even without airing down.

I've just put 275/55R20 AT+ onto the WK2 - and so far they're feeling and handling as absolutely brilliantly as the ones on the KL TH.

I originally had Nitto terra grappler G2 on the overland, Still my favorite but supply can be spotty. I have similar usage to your self but probably more overall rainfall here.

My preferences in order

Nitto terra grappler G2
Toyo AT3 tied with maxxis 811

Current tyres I grabbed in a hurry after a punture radar renegade R/T. Good for price, awesome off-road as an AT and on road performance comparable to any of the other ones. Downsides would be more road noise than the others and most probably higher tyre wear than some but I'm not so fussy about tyre wear so very acceptable for me. Very impressed for their cost.

Default 265/50r20 AT tyre recommendations

Wildpeaks AT3’s are the go. I’d say marginally better than my old nitto’s when it come to sound and wet weather performance. Not too sure if they will last as long though.

Done a heap of slushy snow last weekend. Solid as a rock.

I've got Falken Wildpeakes 285/50/20 on SRT rims, fantastic grip offroad and decent onroad manners.

Must admit I am leaning towards the Falkens. Just need to get it sorted.

Yeah gotta say they look good and have fantastic grip, especially being a low profile tyre, aired down to 20 psi they have kept up with Patrols, Cruisers, Wranglers and Prado shopping carts on the trails, some very sketchy looking descents and climbs.
