The thing that does my head in is it really seems that there's lesser of sympathy / empathy for the victims of drama shows and movies vs admiration / desire to emulate the "bad guys"!!! Mick in Wolf Creek seems to be the actual hero to an awful lot of these yobbo okka types these days - which is a tad scary...

Just to keep things above board, Border Security isn't fictional – it's genuinely filmed in Aus airports with real passengers and cases.

I've seen them kicking around a couple of times; basically if something seems interesting a producer will come ask the passenger for their consent to film, and then if they agree, the cameras come rushing in.
