I removed my 32s and put the 28s back on. Did some tests on the temperature sensors while psyching myself up for replacing the front axle seals tomorrow.

changed the OEM tranny skid plate of the XJ, it just cover poorly the tranny, to one from a ZJ, tranny + transfer so much better protection !

Remounted, reseated, resealed and replaced the filler hoses and fuel pump.

Also gave her a long overdue wash.

scored a free roof basket! It's on the heavy side, weighs 25kg or so. but with the way it mounts fits perfectly on the curved rails. I'm guessing those factory roof rails are only rated to 50kg or so combined?

Also got an electric brake controller so I can tow the old mans camper trailer

Today I bought a pair of front doors from an update with the view of fitting the full sliding glass as well as the larger mirrors.
It shall be interesting to see how hard this mod will be when I get to it....
