I made drawers so that if the worst happened and I went over the majority of my gear would stay away from me, the Treds go down one side and would still move but the shovel is secure on the other so all my space is used. Also if I do need to remove them it is 8 bolts to take the top off and 4 to remove the drawers.

I run the Smittybilt steel drawer in the back of my 2DR.. pretty good setup for $500.. fridge slide bolted to the top.. drawer is lockable which I like.. I lock valuables in it when parked in the city and only needed 2 holes drilled in the floor (I used rivnuts)..

Being a weekend wheeler only and to go places most cannot travel to camp, I like to put all my food, cooking gear and tools. It is nice and easy to access when you have the JK full with a swag, chair, dogs etc.

You don't have to pull everything out to grab the things you want the most often.

I don't need the back seats, my only children are my dogs and they love it on top. However, the whole thing are completely removable, it is tied down with adjustable link bolts attached to the tie down points on the floor.

The wings of the draw system are sealed trap doors on both sides, this will store the air tools, compressor hose and inflator, first aid kit. Easy to access when it full. Dust free spot.

The space on the left side is for a 25l water container, fits nice and snug and easy to use when you open the tail gate to wash your hand and for drinking.

Can't wait to go camping over Easter! Where are you all going for the weekend?

I'm thinking Sofala, west area from the northern beaches, keen to wheel with other JK's as far as bathurst, orange, hill end and North Coast
