Default JK CRD gearing questions

I'm currently chasing a set of gears for my 08' CRD, my front r&p is broken so I may as well fix gearing at both ends when I fix it. I have stock 4.11s, going to go to 4.56 so I can run 35's. But I have read some conflicting information as to what gears fit the 4.11 carrier (or more likely I misunderstood what I read).

Will any of the gear sets advertised for JK's fit? Or do I need something specific.

Front diff is a Dana 30.
everything 3.73 and up uses the same R&P.
i.e.your differential centre will fit with 3.73 4.11 4.56 4.88 gearing etc. but wont work with a 3.54 for example (not a problem as you're going higher)

Rear diff is a Dana44, but it's a special D44 made for the JK (the ring gear is a bit thicker than the D44 on the TJ I believe)
All differential centres are the same for the rear diff, just make sure it's a JK specific R&P

I was originally sent a standard D44 locker and it didn't fit properly, had to be swapped for a JK specific one.

if you want documentation, here is the Eaton locker application guide. It's what I used when having my gearing and lockers done. look at the bottom of page 11.

FYI
I have a 2010 CRD
Mine is an Auto and I run 4.88's for 35's and i'm very happy with it
I have heard 4.56 works well for the manual though

I'm sure you meant CARRIER...... hard to get different ratios if the R&P doesn't vary.

Also Rubicons use different bits again.

4.11 as stock on a 08, I thought the only CRD's to come with 4.11s were the early 07's. I have a manual 08 CRD and it came with 3.21's and they were crap. Now run 4.11's and I feel that's a great all round ratio for a manual CRD and 35's. If I recall the auto suits the next ratio up.
