Default 245/70R17 with no lift?

Just wondering if anyone has run a 245/70R17 with no lift or without lowering the bump stops which is the same thing?
They are 30.5" tall and remember someone posting that their speedo actually read correctly at that height according to the GPS?

Looking at getting maybe these General Grabber A/TX which are similar to my AT2's that I have been running on the XJ.

Or a 255/65R17 which are 30" tall and an inch over stock. Have to run a different brand though but there is still plenty of mainstream brands that carry this size as stock on Holden Colorado's etc.

Looking at fitting them to some Ford Territory wheels. Only concern is will the tyre sensors swap over?

I'm looking to put this size on my 2.5 inch lifted kk. I guess that you are not going to have problem with this size. Before my kk get lifted I had 245/65/17 on stock 17 rims with absolutely no problem. In fact I regret putting this size because I was afraid going to 245/70/17 before the lift. Now that general at are going to the end of their life, the plan is 245/70/17 or maybe 245/75/17.

They fit perfectly with no rubbing. Still want a small lift though as mentioned on another thread.

See my build thread for more details.

Really nice with this size. Sure you need a lift. I think I must go to this size for myself soon, but havent decide which tire brand to choose.
