I did no cutting, and re used the clamps off the OEM intake tube.
If I were to get fussy I may either cut the opening where it enters the engine cover a little wider, or just install a strip of rubber for it to rub on. Either way, it will be a long time before the cover cuts through the tube.

HI All my original has decided to crack .
I have been looking at upgrading so im not really keen on just replacing with a factory pipe.
issue is i see the above Silicone hose isnt currently being made i cant not seem to find one.
what have others done for piping from the Air filter to the Turbo ?

It is a shame these are out of production, but I suppose that's the economics of it.
Before I replaced mine I successfully sealed mine up, maybe your only hope is a patch up with some black silicone?

FYI there's a guy out at Penrith making and selling these. Andre, nice guy, and drives a WH as well
I installed mine last night on my GC. Very good fit. Gets rid of the entire factory hose and seals.
