Waste of time having a tech section for other makes, wouldn't it be better to use the off topic chitchat or make a show off your other stuff or whats in the shed section.
My Willys is Ford powered, my CJ6 Chevy powered. When I had to rebuild the cross flow engine in the Willys I used Ford forums to get ideas, advise, contacts, bought new and second hand parts from people on it.
I don't ask about my postal Jeep on here, cause I'll get told off, it's not for off road, like a patriot

Outerlimits, Overlander, 4wdMonthly, Clubs (eg Ozkrawlers), Explore Oz, there are HEAPS of places that are not brand specific.
Just checked a range of brans specific forums:
http://offroadsubarus.com - No other brands
http://www.offroad80s.com - No other brands
http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/ - No other brands
http://www.pradopoint.com/ - No other brands
http://www.auszookers.com/index.php?name=Forums - No other brands
http://www.aulro.com/afvb/ (Land Rover) - No other brands
etc...really I'm not being elitist etc - but it's a Jeep forum and there are plenty of other places for non-jeeps to be posted up. But that said if there is something of interest on another brand it can be (& jhas been) discussed in General & OT.
If someone has a build that (of another brand) that they feel is interesting enough to members here I'm pretty sure there's nothing stopping them posting up here....heck I'm keen for that build thread of an X90 on 49" Iroks with a GM502 in it .
;)
Anyhow I voted NO cause I think here works just fine without it and it's not out of place with other brand specific forums so why should we be the PC ones.....

I voted NO.
Im not Jeep mad or one eyed at all! actually sometimes my jeep pisses me off and i wished i bought something else! but if i want to discuss other makes or if i buy another brand 4x4 i'll join that site, if i want to search Jeeps i go here or Project-JK in usa.
Its just simpler to keep it Jeep only I reckon. look at 4wdAction for instance, i dont go on much anymore cos its a minefield of 4x4's drivers and info, i find it to hard to search the site.

I voted NO!!!
Nothing againts you Flex. Just think that this is a JEEP-forum “AUSJEEPOFFROAD” Australian online jeep community!!...
Doesn’t mean if a member has a new or old toy, and he wants to post it up, he can’t!
He CAN, no ones stopping him!!!
But if he wants help with it, it’s best to go to the right FORUM that can help him with it.
Just like i’m not going to ask you, how to put a new set of “MARZOCCHI 66 BOMBERS” on a “NORCO” because you don’t know what i’m talking about......
Pluss JB will have to get a new tat.....LoL
