Default JK Diesel Remap

Hi guys,
Just wondering if it is worth getting the remap and tune done on the diesel JK Wrangler?
Some people have said this is why they are blowing the engine and is there any truth to that.
If they are worth doing who is the best in the Melbourne area in your opinions?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Paul

Give Horsepower Factory a call and ask for Matt.
Matt is on the Grand Cherokee forum. He did my Grand a while back and couldn't be happier.
Matt is also a beloved Jeep nut!

Hey Paul

HPF in dandy as above did mine some 30000 ks ago, JK 2.8 07 auto. I did it because the larger tyres slowed it down. Install an exhaust temp gauge beforehand so you can see what is going on because your EGT will get a little hotter.
No EGR, a bit more boost, and a bit more fuel is what the tune does.
Also get an OBD scanner like a scangauge 2..keep an eye on coolant temp.( I have had no dramas here.)
When I did mine there was a 200 $ off voucher in an aussie caravanning magazine.
I like my tune.
