How do you wire the park light to get the halo to work?

Do you mean the DRL function ?

If so...... you need to run a wire to something that is on with the ignition. One option is to use a "piggy back" fuse adapter, to tap into a fuse in the TIPM that is ignition on.

The halo is meant to come on with the Parker lights. Tried tapping red wire from light into blue from park light but nothing.

without having a look i remember 2 wires that were extra to the main 3 prong plug. 1 was DRL (bright halo) and other one was parkers (not so bright halo).
I hooked the bright one up (DRL)to the old park lamp wire.
The halo turns off when the main lights come on.
Try them out by feeding them 12 v off the battery terminal.
Is yours the standard JW (mine is) or the jeep specific one with the J in the model number?

Thanks. All running good , looks brilliant. Evolution j series are the ones I got. Connect red wire from lamp to blue wire from the park loom.

The halo should come on bright with the ignition, then dim when you switch to parkers & stay dim with headlights. At least, I wired mine accordign to the diagram that came with them & that's what they do.

I used the cig lighter to get acc power for the halo (it's fused right????), ran that to the blue / DRL wire. Comes on with acc, stays on with parker, goes out with headlights. I didn't really like how it dims with parker when connected so left that one off, I never use those for actual parking just dim days or tunnels or whatever.

I put the foggies in as well but they're acting unusually. All good until I bring the headlights up with them and then they start to flicker. These are the J model with inbuilt anti flicker however I found they are not suggested for my 2012, I figured maybe the older models didn't use PWM for the fogs but can't work out why this would matter. Even more confusing is how the headlights are doing it???

edit: To make this more unusual the flicker only occurs if switching foggies on AFTER headlights, if I activate them from parker position on the stalk before going to full beam they work fine. So what the hell is this?
