Lockdown changed many lives. I prefer seeing only benefits like working from home.

Holy shit Batman WTF!!!

Nah look... I agree with you.It really is 2 standards and a third if u have money and a 4th if u might help the left of left socialist govt of Victoria make a few bucks that they continue to piss down the drain of scaremongering and who knows where else.

When will all this testing stop? What is now the point? And who gives a rat's arse if u get COVID...we r all going to do so. Gee let's all get on with our lives.

Its a crazy thing isn't it. Sitting in the car for 8 hours is a bloody joke!
Crazy now that positive people can still go to work, meat works, shops, delivery dudes.
Wait another couple of weeks for schools to go back and it will kick off in a big way, kids are little germ factories at the best of times.

Then work from home again! Omicron is bringing back lockdowns but God I hope that what I heard is true (having omicron is like having a natural vaccine to other variants when you are vaccinated). Hopefully, that's true then all of us who got vaccinated will then have hed immunity!

Just got out of isolation.... Covid went thru our whole extended family (2 daughters, grandkids) since Christmas day.

The youngest daughter got hit the hardest. Laid up in bed for 3 days with headaches and fever..

I had head cold symptoms, all cleared up in 3 to 4 days, but still experiencing severe fatigue in the morning a week later. Im triple vaxxed.

SHMBO who is double vaxxed was asymptomatic. not even a runny nose..

It still seems a lottery as to who gets hit the hardest....

stay healthy everyone..

My son came back from spending a few says at a friends place. Friends flatmate picked it up & gave it to everyone there. When he came back, not feeling well, I sent the girls to stay with their mother for the duration. Sunday he was tested & positive, I wasn't. Yesterday, I woke up with a scratchy throat & went for another check, got the result SMS'd at 1am this morning, positive. Bugger.

Feels like a very mild flu at this point. Stuffy nose, (but my sinuses were already playing up so not sure how much is related), minor general aches, sore throat.

On the other hand, we're both double vaxxed, I'm due for booster any time from next week, I think. Just checked again, they've changed it to 4 months from 5, so could have gone before Christmas. Oh well. But then, I don't think they had shortened it at that time, so...

On the gripping hand, I've been working from home for ~9 years or so, so all this 'lockdown' malarky has made no difference to me!
