Default Diff covers

Guys can I confirm from my searching and research that the ARB rear diff cover does not fit the D44A and that they have never made a D44A version. Secondly I ask cause my searching suggests ARB is the only company that makes a cover with a drain plug and I would prefer to actaully have a drain plug rather than having to undo and reseal the cover to do my oil changes.

The Terraflex D30 cover that DBOR show on their site looks like it has the drain for the front but their D44A does not and I have not come across opne yet that does have a drain.

I believe that RuffStuff do make a armour diff cover for the D44. You might want to check out their website:

http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/D44COV.html

You can get them to tap a drain hole into the cover for an extra $5. I just bought one of their covers for my 8.25 diff and it is very strong and well made.

Not to sure how the D44A and the D44 differ, other than perhaps one is made of aluminium. So perhaps their cover is not suitable but worth checking with them as they custom make stuff as well. Reasonable price and the shipping was also pretty good.

Not sure of the exact differences either but got an reply back from them to say no good for the D44A.

If all you want is a drain get your local mechanic to drill a hole in the bottom run a BSP tap through & stick a drain plug in, thats what I did.
Blue torch fab was making a HD cover but no drain.

Have you or anyone else ever got anythign off these guys. They do both front and rear covers in either fabbed or component DIY kits and can suppy an extra filler socket to use as a drain and is exactly what I'm looking for but they are not replying to my emails.
