How did you go? At 60k in 9 years its prob in pretty good condition however could prob do with new tie rod ends and ball joints and possibly front unis. To be honest thats about it apart from water leaks but them you learn about on the fly.

I would also check for mud and sand on the chassis to check for off road road use.

What price - 60k is low mileage - just traded my 2010 2 door with 123k for $19k

Hey mate. I own a 2007 Jk wrangler rubicon petrol manual with about 65000 kms on the clock. I have had no real issues and seacomms sums up pretty well as stock joints can be a bit average especially if modified so just check for wear and tear and any movement in them. Otherwise they are pretty damn reliable from my experiences. I have heard of water leaks but mine has never dropped a drip inside the cab. The old 3.8litre seems to be a strong reliable unit if horse power isn't your thing.

She bought it $19k. Looks like it's not seen dirt in the last 5 years this owner had it. Spotless interior and out I'll post some picks when we pick it up. Rubbers did look a bit tried but she wants too lift it pretty much asap so I'll do rubbers then. What lift 50mm would you recommend

I think a quality coil and Spring lift is the go. I have heard the ARB kits not so good for the JK but go a quality kit like AEV, poly. Check out some vendors on here and see what they recommend for the style of driving, off roading u may do

Ive got an 07 2dr sport, manual 3.8l and just ticked over 90000km. So far pretty good and solid vehicle and its only the usuall Wrangler issues such as thruster bearing making noise, replaced starter motor last week, radiator fan motor is slowly dying. But no leaks etc.

If yout want a lift, Ive got Lovells springs through Jeep dealership up in Newcastle as they were clearing them out and Ironman shocks, adjustable front and rear panhard rods. It does pay to shop around and some parts a cheaper through the dealers (crazy eh).

She is going to love taking the top off! Only in a Jeep

Hi Paul, I just had a DBOR touring lift kit fitted. Very happy with it and it is a decent lift without going over the top.
There are some pics in 'JK drivers post your pics' section on this forum, including before and after.

Cheers, Craig
