Something else you could try in the meantime:
1. Swap the 2 & 4 plugs. See if the misfire moves.
2. The leads might just be long enough, swap 2 & 4 leads . Again, see if misfire transfers. (Both ends, I mean, I accidentally crossed over 1 & 3 & the 3.8 drives like even more of a dog on 4 cylinders! And you get 'multiple random cylinder misfire' code that does SFA for trying to figure out what is wrong. I checked the leads to make sure they were right 3 times before I even started the engine & still got it wrong.
