Picked up a second hand waeco fridge slide for my 80l waeco, now I need to remove the rear false floor and finish making my own floor with storage under and a bit more strength to bolt the fridge slide down.

Made in Au but 4 hour drive away from me in Dubbo. I know I should go back to them but I feel it is the way its made (horizontal movement on the spline) not just balance. It's just on a year old so they probably should fix it but the time I will waste taking the Jeep to them & an over night stay is putting me off.

Way easier (for me) to buy a Tom Wood's replacement shaft, they have a list for them know $450usd + freight of $235us, that's $590au + freight of $310au so $900au to your door.

Still trying to source an American TCM at the moment, that is top of my Jeep list at the moment.

Any one know someone in the USA that can call a few wreakers for me???

Can you please post a pick of the 80L installed?

I am thinking of getting the same model. Was thinking of removing the clips and that center tray and tying it down in the center horizontal with no slide. That way it drops the height about 5 cm, but I would rather have it on a slide if it will fit?

I haven't fitted it yet but it will work, just. I'll be sure to put some pics up when it's done, I did have to take both the handles off the fridge.
