Guys Guys Guys. You are going about it the wrong way.
You need to make your wife think that the jeep is hers. Then every mod you buy for it is technically buying her a gift. (here darling happy birthday I got you a new winch for your jeep ) or I was sitting at work thinking about you so I went online and got you a new set of wheels.
I am the greatest husband in the world at the moment I have spent so much on her she thinks im a god

Apologise for my ignorance on the JK diffs having a drain plug in the housing, thought they were more or less the same design as the TJ. I have 2 Teraflex diff covers sitting here with no drain hole and the fill hole is too high to be used for the fill level making them only good for emergency spares....

My wife keeps asking me to buy her a Merc which I'm quite happy to do. I put it to her the other day that I'll buy her a Unimog. That way, she gets a Merc, a camper and a 4x4 all in the one vehicle.

Mate, dont be shy. I would add/alter your list:

52" roof mounted light bar (you can never have enough)
LED headlights
Ultragauge
Snorkel
Rear drawers
37" tyres
Gearing
Pro-Lockers with ARB pump
ARB twin compressor
AEV 4.5" lift (why start small)
AEV floor mats
