I'm in Sydney and still have mine, a 2003 2.7CRD Limited with 276,000km on it. It's still running well but I expect its days are limited. I'm moving back to Brisbane so a trip to Moreton or Fraser is likely on the cards then it may go.

I still see quite a few WJs around Sydney, mostly V8s though. And most of them are looking tired.

There still are tons in Eastern Europe, I see a lot of them on the road
Almost all of them are 2.7's.

Mine's still kicking, 2.7, 2004 Limited, a hair under 250.000km, land of vampires.
My old one was almost at 300.000km when I took it off the road, hopefully I can get it re-registered and sell it, no need for 2 Jeeps.

Still have some strange issue with the steering (although I installed a heavy duty steering damper) when I am running over a bump. Feels like something is loose although all the parts are firm (trackbar, tie rod endings etc.). I will look at the ball joints on the weekend although I wiggled them left and right ab up and down and they seem to be ok as well, so I am not sure what is the issue.

I will still drive it till it is sold. Almost had a buyer over last weekend but suddenly went quiet. And a couple of scammer who wanted me to to send them an message to an email for "quick sale"... yeah right.
I have tracked this down to the lower shock mount moving on the bush. The Pin bar setup allows the shock to slide back and forth after a while.
Pin bar delete kits are available. This is the last knock I need to fix to sell.

Thanks Shane. In my case it was the swaybar links. The bushing were totally shot. I was able to "patch it up" in the rear but not possible in the front. So I bought 2 pairs off ebay (36 Dollar each pair incl. sending). Not sure about the quality but in my case since I am selling to it should be good enough for the next 50 to 100K.

I will still keep my Jeep till I have fixed my Defender so that I can at least get around unless someone really comes and wants to quickly buy it.
