If your looking at keeping a good onroad ride Id go OME and a Budget Boost (Spacer), new shockies, bumpstops and adjustable front trackbar, Give you 2-3".

im pretty sure OME market it as suspension kits not lift kits as such,
they market it to have ~2" lift, but it sometimes give you more.
and adding a spacer block on the spring is ok, i had teraflex ones, in there they were 2" tall, and adding the OME springs i had close to 4" lift.

when i did that, (back in the days when we did the SJC ACTJT menai trip days), i had really bad drine line vibs. but ask the people who knows.

however, i was very happy with the OME springs, althought my JW sat 2" taller due to the tera pucks. still handled quite well..

wouldnt suggest you do the OME + 2" pucks. cos you are looking for on road performance. stick to OME suspension kit only. also i would suggest you to add OME rear HD sway bar as well. they make it handle much better, since WJ tend to wobble a bit. teh complete OME kit, should gives you springs, & shocks, not 100% on bump stop lowerers

give mick/mark a call at Suburban...
they will give you more on pricing and their opinions.

cheers

back in the days with 4" lift, i had 245/75/R16. some where between 30 or 31"
which you can fit without lifts.

now i have in theory 6" lift. with 33's (285/75/R16) at times

but note if my information is correct,
that 99WJ in Aust comes standard with Up-Country Suspension, and i think either from 2000 or 2001 on they removed the upcountry suspension. hence 99WJ should be slightly taller than 00+.
also im pretty sure that ARB's test WJ is a 99. hence the measurement maybe relative to the up-country ride height.

say if you have a 00WJ, the right height maybe taller than expected. dotn think the drive line would be much differ from what i had, but just takenote on that...

but i might be wrong, i just did teh suspension and fuond out a few thing, the driveline issue wasnt a problem for me as i always had planned to go to 6" lift and expected to changed shit load of stuff...

cheers

Thanks Bill
Im just weighing up my options the cj is double locked and lifted but its not like i get to use it there isn't many places to play And the idea of compitition dosn't appeal to me and its not like i would ever be considered so I may sell the cj and buy another car and give the wj a few mods so if i ever get to use it.It will be a little more cappable
anyway Thanks

cool.
if thats the case.

i'd go for
1, 2" OME kit, no hassle there, you may want to fo 4" but expect some driveline problem, they might not be there, but expect it, and if it dont happen its a bonus..

2, front lock, either way the front lock work quite well with the QD in the rear, but not sure how it performs with rear LSD, no ARB's for the rear, maybe detroit trutrack thats abou it i think.

3, front bar, so you have a option to get a winch as well.. i do admit it, the ARB front will damage the slick WJ look but the WJ needs that approach angle..

4, 245/75/R16 of any tires, they wil rub a bit off road, but you'll be right. its not that bad.

5, KEEP THE DAMN CJ !!!!!!!! are you sick of walking everywhere have ya ?

mix and match my friend.

anyway, when you have decided, give Mick a call, and arrange to have my truck there so you can poke a stick at it.

cherers
