Default NSW / National Light Vehicle code of modifications

Working with our RTA certified engineer the National Code for Light vehicle modification looks to be released and implemented shortly - this is a ongoing rumour

Not so rumours that will impact on our sport:
*Maximum of 6” total lift to any vehicle – Note: this is a combined tyre, body and suspension height.
*Body lifts not to be allowed at all in vehicles fitted with SRS air bags from the factory (ouch)

(the changes are rumoured to be retrospective due to the safety issues involved)

Guess I'll just have to put a Nos kit on the jeep then? $hit that will make it safer!

6" total lift.....bugger So that means we can move from Stock to 40" tyres provided we cut HEAPS!!!

So in theory the max allowed will be 3.5" Susp lift with 33"s ....that just sucks ......

Hmmm total lift of body, tyres & suspension huh......So Axles "lifts" are ok

As for the Body lift I don't mind that - it sucks that its combined with tires.....
