thought i better finaly put some pics up of my j20
was yellow, partway through painting and resto, got sick of not driving her so put back together for a while to get a bit more motivation.
has 351windsor t18 4speed and np203 transfercase.
would like to put an efi donk in her with auto trans at some stage and fabricate a neater looking tray and hide lift cylinder or find a style side.

pics are crap quality and dont do the old girl justice will get better ones later

Time for an update. Thanks to jk unlimited for posting pics of that gorgeous 1970 J2000 as that's what I took inspiration for the two-tone from. It's actually green, but my camera seems convinced it's gunmetal!

It needs a wash and all the stainless / aluminium polished, and maybe something to make the bed look less bitty than the galv and black, but it's coming together.

Always nice to hear some kind words, the Waggie is special to me and my boys. The wife does not get all that excited. Does not tow the boat too often these days as I use my 100series for that on the majority of occasions. Jeep spends most of it's time getting issues sorted at present - transfer case leak, radiator leak, rear diff pinion seal (warranty thank god on that one).

Seems to be a common thread- mind you the old truck drives like a dream when I drive it.

Will have it absolutely sorted by Jamboree this year.

Have you got plans for your wagon, looks like it is in top shape?

Cheers

At this stage mate, just to maintain her. She needs new suspension, at first I was thinking of going for a hardcore lift as Ive always had Big Lift Patrols but I honestly dont think I could do it to her.
So Ive decided on 2" with 31's, make it a bit more capable but retaining a near stock look.

Further down the track I may replace the 6 banger with a V8, the 6 is out of a 99 Cherokee and she gets rather hot, as I found out thats a common trait in those engines.

Im pretty lucky actually, theres not much wrong with her at the moment bar a small weep from the rear main.
