Thanks, the wife is planning the trip, QLD september school holidays, its mainly the tourist stuff for the kids, dubbo zoo, through lithgow to katoomba, Jenolan caves and then to sydney and up the coast to southwest rocks on the way home.

She isn't keen on offroading, but I think I can squeeze a trip to the glow worms in and maybe some exploring around newnes. Also thinking of driving down from Jenolan to Kanangara walls lookout. I see there's some fire trails around there, but the wife won't be keen on that..... unfortunately.

Jenolan to the 'Walls lookout could be done in a lowered Commodore and is a pretty nice little scenic run.

The Glow Worms trip actually annoyed me, many kms of potholed road.

Wombat holes is a bit of harmless fun near there (and you'd be going past it if headed to Glow worm), powerlines track is a bit more interesting though.

EDIT: last edit, boxhead did this up, track maps of the area:

I wonder how much all that tackle weighs, including the rear swing mount...

A lot of manufacturers make it difficult to find out the weights of their accessories...

Cheers
