Default Stick on wheel balance weights coming off

Hey guys,

Anyone else had this issue with the 18's?

If anyone knows which brand(s) I should ask for next balance, muchly appreciated.

Default 17's

I had it happen with the stock 17's......seemed to be more just a bodgie job from the tyre shop rather than an issue with the rim.

I haven't had any problems with stick on weights but have with the clamp on ones. I think that the stick on ones really depends on how well they clean the rim first.

Default Wheel Balance

This year I had to replace my original Kumho,s I bought some at a dealer near Deception Bay Qld.
On the drive home at highway speed i had a slight vibration, Took my car back for a second balance and still had the same problem. I then had a third balance done at a local Tyrepower and no more vibration. I rang the Kumho dealer to let him know his balances where still out. Maybe his machine or tech.
He said the weights have been falling off. I know it is possible but you think they would be stuck on properly considering how many thousands they do.
Maybe you do more business with out of balance tyres?
