Default TPMS Sensors ebay vs genuine advice

Hi all,

Well I see on eBay, I can get a set of 4 sensors for just under $50 delivered for the WK2 and then again, a lot of sellers suggesting from a couple of hundred upwards to $500 dollars. I guess the question after reading seller feedback profiles suggesting the sensors are fake coming from China. Don't get me wrong, they produce some really top stuff for cheap as chips.

So does anyone have experience with the cheaper sets as will buy at sub 100 for a set but over this is not worth it in my view for my needs.

Thoughts?

I bought a cheapy off ebay for my previous WG Grand Cherokee off ebay, and the car wouldn't run with it on and was throwing up codes left, right and centre. Not sure if it was just faulty, but I decided there and then to only buy genuine sensors or at least from my local parts supplier that way if there was something wrong it would be easy to return.
