Summit uses UPS etc, which takes a nice $75-180 bucks custom "charge" to send you a letter asking for GST payment..
I know because I just had to pay some nice extra tax on some parts yesterday from summit

Amazon was doing this before the GST requirement, they do it so you are forced to pay the inflated prices at amazon.com.au

I just went on the RockAuto website. No mention anywhere of anything, but i stuck a couple of items in my cart. As i am a regular customer, i put in my email address and postcode and all my details popped up. What also popped up was a new box with GST calculated on the items and added to the price.
So, it seems RockAuto is back up and running for Australians. Will just pay a bit more now as GST is added to orders.

Interesting ,as when I emailed them again a month ago ,no way were they going to be collecting tax for the Aust gov.Maybe looked at the Aust sales figures !

I notice that Australian Dollars is an option again. Looking promising.
Has anybody in Australia successfully ordered anything yet?
