Default Coolant leak from back of valley 2014 wk2 diesel

I’ve just started to have a coolant leak intermittent on how much it looses
I’ve taken it to my local mechanic who pressurised the system and said the coolant is coming out the back of the valley somewhere but wasn’t sure why
He has searched the internet and thinks it may be the coolant return hose from the turbo in the valley and has said it is a major job ,and wasn’t sure if the engine needs to come out or not.
Credit to him he said straight up he doesn’t no enough about jeeps to be confident to do the job
My question is I’m in the Newcastle ,port Stephens area and need to take it to a mechanic that has had experience with this issues and there recommendations on wether it is this issue and how to fix the problem
Any ideas
Thanks

Hi Hairyas, being a fellow Novacastrian, please keep us informed on who you take your Jeep too and how you found them to be with dealing with your problem.
I put a link up for a mob down on the Central Coast @ Nth Wyong who specialise in Jeeps incase you cant find anyone around Newy, sorry I cant be of any help.
Theres a few people on here from around Newcastle, so give it a little bit of time and Im sure one of them will jump on board and point you in the right direction

Hey hairyas, certainly sounds like the turbo cooler feed tube under the intake manifold. See this post and will save you a lot of time. FCA manuals and dealers will say engine needs to come out but it does not. I ordered the part for $46USD and gave to dealer to replace during recent engine work.
Order parts and get a decent mechanic to do the work, not that hard.

Cheers and good luck

Hairyas......hope this helps...my 2014 jgc dropped most of its coolant when I parked in Longreach a few weeks ago . Took it to local mechanic and had it back 2 days later . His report is as follows...Remove intake airhose, intercooler hose electrical harness over top of engine, intake of turbo, passenger side injecter line to hose that was leaking ,reassemble vehicle top up coolant, test drive
This leaking hose was a 3in piece of3/8 rubber hose under the turbo . Grand cost hose $18 labour 7hrs $847.
Fixed it.

So he got the sucker out without taking the manifold off?
That's a damn good price.
I was chatting with a fellow WK2 owner here at a local Jeep Meetup and he was saying his mechanic said his has started to bulge and would replace all water hoses innthe engine bay for 1800 bucks which I thought was pretty good considering the ball ache just to do the one under the turbo.
