Never change just the one sensor with the TJ late models, it will just cause more dramas. For the cost of roughly $150 for all four, just replace all four and know that they are all good and going to last you another 100k kilometers.

If you did a service on you car would you only replace 1 out of the 6 spark plugs??
What if your tyres were 90% worn out and you got a blowout in one of them, would you only replace the one? or would you do a full set?

for what its worth I just recently changed my 4 o2 sensors and all codes cleared, drove 15okms no problem hit the dirt roads and post cat code came up tightened the bolts above cat and codes dissapeared..
also apparently in 2006 jeep noticed this as a problem and released a computer upgrade which if problem is reoccuring they re flash the drive and install the new program.

Yeah that is correct, the cat bolts do have a tendency to work there way loose after awhile. The gasket compresses slightly, bumpy roads and next minute its loose and leaking oxygen into the exhaust and throwing the sensors all out of wack.

yeah, thats for '05 and '06 models that get the P2096 or P2098 codes.

plus there is a simple wiring mod involving the ASD and fuel pump relays located in the Power Distribution Center if you get those codes and the "not ready for I/M testing".

2005 and 2005 models only

So Bonza the question I have is does the reflash fix the problem as Im still getting the codes and all gasket bolts are tight as well as New o2 sensors?

that I dont know. I've been getting a P2098 for years now. only happens on long highway trips when cruising and fuel consumption is at its least, as if to say "hey, this is a Wrangler we are meant to guzzle"
have replaced an O2 sensor and tensioned the manifold and exhaust bolts all to no avail. may do the wiring mod one of these days. there is a TSB detailing how to do it. http://www.obdclearinghouse.com/docu.../25-001-07.pdf
