International Space Station will be visible Saturday night!!

I'm calling this a good omen as we saw it on the last trip too!

Just speaking to Hoobz and I was contemplating coming along BUT Leanne (my wife) said she would love to do the border track with me, but not this time of year: too cold.
So when it's a bit warmer

Have fun guys and remember; if there's no pic's, it didn't happen!

Cheers,
Ruffy.

Organised some wood too, dunno if I am game to have it on the roof rack all the way there, busted up an old BBQ stand and bundled it together, it's oiled not treated so should be OK to burn, and my neighbour has a heap of smallsih bits of sleepers from doing his retaining wall.
I reckon if we all take a little bit we should be good
It's a 6.5 hr drive as it is, and my hips these days give me hell when I sit for too long in one hit.
Otherwise I'd go up a track to get there for sure.

On the firewood front, we're going to be tight for space ...
My girls like to go glamping.
Big Oz Tent RV5,
Three stretcher beds, with matresses, we've got a Dune Deluxe Jumbo queen matress (massive roll)
Thickest sleeping bags in the universe
Their actuall pillow sets from home
Tent heater
Stove
Esky
Table
Camp chairs
My tools
Recovery gear

Blahblah Blahblah

I'm a carpenter, we stick frame, we've got an open fireplace at home and still throw heaps of good offcuts out in skips. Firewood is never an issue.
But, I was looking at the bin the other day thinking we got nowhere to put it, unless we trailer it

We're going to have an aw3some trip, it'd be a pity to miss it.
Does Leanne need to be bribed with a new winter jacket with mink lining or summin'? Haha
Tell her we want her to come with

I'm lucky like that. My girls like going places remote, with no people around, that's why we camp in winter only.
12yr old is banned from her phone and ipad for a while and she loves tenting too.
But, the shit we take to be comfy is a ginormous load to carry
