Just thought even though you are sick of this thread. I would let you know what sort of a repair job Jeep did on my vehicle and it is to put it plain and to the point ****. They have left panels of, have dented the panels in front of the tow bar repaired spot welds with pop rivets, the worst job of resealing I have ever seen and the paint colour does not match all in all looks like one of the local back yarders did the job in the dark. I have also had to have a wheel align done as when I recieved it back would not drive in a straight line pulling to the left badly. Do not let Jeep do your repairs.

Yep, using info from this forum, I've been giving the local Nissan workshop info on how to service my Jeep. I'd trust them more than the Jeep dealership now At least they admit they don't know it all and are prepared to listen to me.

Please, signwilson, can you be more accurate with your statements?

Jeep don't do any repairs. They do not have a repair shop as such. Was it your dealer who organised the repairs through a panel shop ?

I understand why you would be pi55ed off, I really hate bodgy repairs, but Jeep didn't do it, did they ?

Thumbs up

I thought he was pretty clear, he put it in to his local Jeep dealer who repaired it and did a bodgy job, whether or not it was subbied out the dealer what ever badge he wears would be reponsible for the quality of the repair. I have been to his dealer for a service on my auto and when they said they can't do it by itself they have to do a full service which includes the auto I walked out never to return.
Anyway signwilson I wouldn't give up on Jeeps because you will get shafted by any difficult warranty claim no matter what you drive, I prefer to buy a vehicle thats about 5 yrs old, price is better and after market parts are usually available as well as most of the bugs are fixed and on the whole it costs a heap less.
