KJ owners be aware...

I hope I am alone in this one...

On Sunday whilst driving at about 80k's a stone about the size of a twenty cent piece pierced the front windscreen just above the windshield wipers between the driver and passenger landing on the back seat, about 15 seconds later the whole windscreen collapsed in to the car, which is not the most pleasent of experiences I assure you. Both myself and my better half were not hurt but have a fair share of glass cuts and bruises between us.

I have broken a number of windscreens in my time but never have had one collapsing into the car. The windscreen replacement guy indicated that he had never seen anything like it before.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? If not KJ onwers should be aware....

Buy the way the replacement windscreen was $428 at Windscreens O'Brien.

NEVER heard of this before.....If it was common - I'd think a recall was warranted....

That doesn't sound wright at all........arn't all windsreens laminated glass.
