I'd agree, definitely get another opinion or two.

Also, my understanding is that the airbags didn't deploy due to it being a hit from the rear, therefore throwing the head back into the headrest, rather than forward. If an airbag goes off when it isn't needed, it just adds unnecessary risk to the situation
