My XJ is still up on stands waiting for a rebuilt D30 to go in. Bit annoyed that only yesterday I noticed one in the FS section for like half of what mine is going to cost and it had a locker. Damn and I already had the parts ordered and delivered .

Coil pack no doubt, common prob with chainsaws.

I have the shits too my XJ is still days away from being fixed and I am losing work because the XJ is the work vehicle . In my business if you are not on to a job within a few days people go elsewhere. Plenty of other people who can get ya sorted in the gardening business. So I have money going out in the plenty but nothing coming in.....

Regards A

My chainsaw is a lot less hassle than your problem, it will sit on the bench until I have the inspiration to fix it, need inspiration or it will end up in the dam.
I really don't know whether to pull it apart or just give it to the chain saw bloke ???? Me and chainsaws don't have a great history.
How long to do a rebuild ?????? Thought it would only be a couple days.
