Default Standard WJ ride height

Does anyone know what the standard ride height is from rim (16") to fender is?

I put a 2" lift in mine but it seems to be higher than that. I didnt measure the ride height before installing.

original ride height will depend on whether it came with upcountry suspension or not. upcountry was an inch higher

All Laredos in Aust. have up country suspention it's 20mm higher then a Grand Ltd. It is only an option on ltd... 4x4 shops who quote for a 2 inch lift (usually) means they lift it 40mm.. I ve been told by over 5 4x4 shops that a grand cherokee can sit at 740mm with out them making changes to the drive line position.. Even the most well talked about suspention shop in Perth will only sell a 40mm lift on a GC with out you going in there and getting A) a long arm rock crawler kit ect.. or getting steering dampners and drive line components changed... I am just saying what I ve experienced, however some people have been lucky and lifted there Grands over 740mm and had no trouble with driveline or getting the death wobble... It's a legal and cost reason why 3' 4' and bigger lifts are not "off Shelf" as such Like a patrol or cruiser, any shop in aust would lift eather of those.... I have been looking into this the last few weeks as I want to lift mine to just under 800 mm that is how much free drop a Grand has with out extending brake lines ect, I put mine up on the 2 post at work and we are currently looking into how hi we will lift it! Hope that help s you should have 740mm with a standard OME lift or other brand just shocks and springs only, any higher and steering dampner is a must and the ride can change!
