I thought some at rainbow and out to the ferries was good without any so long as you weren't camping. Take the dogs to the beach at bribie but would be ten years since I've been on the beach there in a car as well. More money. Bugger.

...and they do have Rangers patrolling the areas to check.

There's a couple of free spot still. If you hit the beach at Rainbow you can drive about a k toward Double Island point and at noosa if you turn at the first cutting you can drive south to the mouth of the river. You can drive up to the Fraser ferry but jot anlot to dobor see on a couple of hundred metres of sand.

Just had a look at the cost. Ouch. Be cheaper to get 100 people and buy into a block of land and get resident exemption. Then you could claim a drive there every 3 months on your tax as well.
