Has two mics...one for Bluetooth calls, and a usb mic for OK Google which is pretty neat, used it to navigate, make calls, play music etc...way more responsive that stock voice control

Some folks on XDA forums are using tasker with the buttons and voice controls to do some crazy stuff. Loving it!

Pics or it never happened.

DIY install, given how incompetent I am as a handy man...I'm pretty chuffed with myself! (But that also means if I can do it, anyone else can)

P.s the interface you see there is an android app called "car dash droid", without it it just looks like your standard android device in landscape mode...

Very nice - what's the background on this mod, were you following a thread or install guide from somewhere. Would be interested to have a look into it myself too!

Was following a massive thread on xda forums search that and newsmy nu3001 and you will find it, pretty much myself and a more seasoned US Jeeper we're using the forum and PMs to figure out the install for the JK.

I'm happy to assist you with identifying parts you need etc... Unit alone is ~USD450 so you're still streets ahead from insane jeep audio and the big names

If you're in Vic, depending on how far you are from me I could easily persuaded to assist with an install over a couple of beers!

If you're talking bluetooth calls then yes, I don't stream music via Bluetooth anymore... I use iSyncr to synchronise my iTunes to it.

It has a separate android box size of a small hard drive (takes a 64 gig SD card), which you can unplug (uses FireWire)and take into the house to customise etc...
