What is it like in Ireland regarding vehicle modifications ?
Vehicle mods are allowed but must comply with the road traffic laws, (none of the tyre outside the wheel arch etc.) We have the toughest vehicle test in the UK which is government run rather than privately licened garages on the mainland. They prefer to see factory made upgrades but home made are OK if made to a high enough standard.

That's different to here in Australia. We have very strict laws coming in and/or already passed. We can only go up 50mm in tyres that are originally fitted to the vehicle and a 50mm suspension lift. The authorities frown on a lot of home modifications.
