If you have a phone charger for the car with a light it makes for an easy test.

Thanks Mike
The manual says F90/91 for the rear Power Outlet ..... but I wouldn't put too much store on that.

Today I went to Autobarn to get some fuses. I pulled the F57 fuse to see wat they look like ... Autobarn had none to fit. When I was putting it back I dropped the fuse .... gone somewhere. So down to Northern Jeep to get a new one. The manual says that F57 is a 15amp related to the transmission. The lid of the fuse box says it a 20 amp for the HID headlamps.

Anyway Northern Jeep dont stock fuses ....... WTF .... "We can order one in" .... which one the 15 or the 20?????

So over to the workshop I go to get some help .... good guys there sorted it out ... simple really ... just turned on the head lights and the left one didn't shine. In goes a 20amp fuse and I'm on my way.

SO the lesson here is toss the manual .... rely on the fuse box lid.

Regards

Rob

I can look tomorrow to see which one it is if you still need to know.
I thought they were standard fuses. Same as in all other cars. Looked the same as what my old Toyota has.

For anyone who is interested genuineatbayside is selling the tow ball kits for WKs right up to the current model for 10% off at the moment. In addition, Ebay is giving 15% off as part of its birthday celebrations! This means that I got the kit for $476 including postage! Wiring loom is extra, but I will receive an extra discount as part of the ebay promotion on that too. Too good to resist.

Anyone done the same as Tahlee and supplied their own TB kit and had a Jeep dealer do the fitting only? I'm awaiting a quote from Rolfe in Canberra but would be interested to know what prices other dealers around the country are doing.

Oh, also, that eBay seller genuineatbayside threw in the wiring for free. Bloody bargain! With the ebay 15th anniversary discount of 15% I only paid $424 for the full kit!
