Guys do u think u could make that work in other models like a GC.

Hey Hutch. I got the Raingler in my wk (2) GC. It's very similar. They have a model for the GC. Only bit I dislike is it doesn't make it to the roof. Just like the photo posted below by Omar. However it worked a treat in a recent camping trip where I loaded the GC to the roof. I can get photos if you want.

You do need to remove some trim and drill into the pillar. Download their install instructions and see if it's what you want to do. I picked this one because it's easy to remove when you need to fold the seat down.

Gap at the top but so far hasn't been an issue since I've only loaded pillows and similar stuff up high and nothing has fallen through.

I didn't screw into the plastic wheel arch covers on the side but it still seems to work fine. This would pull the middle section or towards the sides of the cargo area.
