I was really looking forward to going there again - Perth Jeep legends SBR Offroad had a bi-annual Jeep event locked in - last one was in 2014.
It would be great if tourists could still drop in but I don't know if that's the case.
Most casual travellers along that stretch would be more inclined to visit Kalbarri instead

So did the 700+km from home to our first stop, streaky bay. Stopped at Lochiel (and the pink lake) and the big gular, kadina
Were planning to stay at Tractor beach, but this was full and wasn't free. Se we went around the peninsula a bit

So we explored a bit of the Eyre Peninsula today. Travelled approx 70km (one way) to see the Murphy's haystacks, the Woolshed, tub and Taila Cave. The haystacks are massive granite rocks. It $5 via an honesty box. They were cool and the kids loved exploring them
Then onto the woolshed, tub and Taila cave. These are features carved out of the cliff face rock by mother nature herself. The first two were awesome with the photo of the woolshed not doing it justice.
Then a quick look at venus bay before be for heading into the streaky bay bakery and the smooth pools before back to camp for butter chicken
