Default "Carbon Flush" Injector clean - Does my JK need it?

Howdy,
My 4 Door Rubicon, Manual has been booked for the 24,000k service (I have done 28,000K)
I only do approx 12000k per year. Vehicle has only been driven since new for just over 2 years.

The dealership has suggested that regardless of the low kays, They want to flush the brake lines since it's been 2 years.
I guess that's ok...

But they also want to clean the fuel injection system - called a Carbon Flush.
Dealer claims it will help fuel economy and general running of the engine.
$99 for the carbon flush

Is that necessary do you think?
Or is it just a "do you want fries with that?" type of fast talking up-sell?

Cheers,
BT

I wouldnt recommend any additives to the system and most "carbon flushes" are jusy too corrosive/abrasive in modern CR diesel systems.

you should run an injector cleaner through your tank every time you service...

I very much doubt jeep will charge you any where near $100 for cleaning your injectors by removing them lol, they are more likely to charge you $500 for a job like that...

jeep charging you $100 for a $15 product is more like them lol
