Default WH Auto Trans Fluid Change.

Changed the engine oil and auto fluid yesterday. The auto fluid had done 30000klms ,2/3rds of that towing a 1300kg camper plus the odd off road trip.Using Valvoline Maxlife synthetic. with a larger transmission pan. Fluid colour and smell like new. Using Penrite 10w40 Eco engine oil. Full synthetic suitable for DPF and non DPF vehicles. My 2010 has DPF . Label on bottle states oil change intervals up to 100000 klms on some truck motors ok.!!!Must have good filtration. Mine looks like treacle at 7000klms.

Check out my Ride(s)
Default

My Volvo prime mover has 100k intervals, 38 litres 3 huge filters. Oil still looks like molasses even if I half the interval. 7k oil changes will keep your bearings in tip top shape.
